The Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies provides the vital care that counts on the way to a cure by enhancing the quality of life for individuals with Parkinson’s disease through education, research, awareness and support for those with the disease, their families and the community.
There are an estimated 17,000 individuals in the Rocky Mountain community living with Parkinson’s disease. The Parkinson Association of the Rockies aims to serve each of these individuals in a meaningful way.
The Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies is:
- A unique organization in the Rocky Mountain region, dedicated to providing innovative programs and resources to those living with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners and the broader community.
- Continually expanding programs and services to further reach underserved Parkinson’s populations.
Since its formation in 1981, the Parkinson’s Association of the Rockies has been a valuable resource to the Colorado community, providing direct care services including support groups, in-home case assessment and an information hotline to individuals living with Parkinson’s, their families and care partners, as well as the general community. Through their tangible and innovative resources, the Parkinson’s Association’ of the Rockies provides the care that counts on the way to a cure.
