AIRPO

Alliance of Independent Regional Parkinson Organizations

The Alliance of Independent Regional Parkinson Organizations (AIRPO) is a consortium of regional independent nonprofit organizations, with the shared goals of supporting those who live with the disease. AIRPO aims to enrich programs and services available to the Parkinson's disease community by encouraging collaboration, leveraging organizational strengths and maximizing efficiency amongst its founding member organizations, which include: Houston Area Parkinson Society, Michigan Parkinson Foundation, Northwest Parkinson's Foundation, Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, Dallas Area Parkinsonism Society and Parkinson Support Center of Kentukiana.

AIRPO formalizes a collaboration that began in 2009 between the Parkinson Association of the Rockies and several independent regional nonprofit organizations. Each AIRPO member organization will leverage the collective knowledge and strengths to improve the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease.

To be accepted to AIRPO, members must be independent nonprofit organizations and have a mission that is clearly dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease. Nonprofit Parkinson's organizations that are interested in learning about AIRPO should contact the Parkinson Association of the Rockies at This email address is being protected from spambots.
