Find the right support group for you
When first diagnosed, it is common to feel scared and alone. When you are ready to find support from people who understand what you are going through, joining a support group can be a rewarding experience.
The Parkinson Association's support group network helps to lift the burden of coping with Parkinson's disease by teaching patients and caregivers how to help themselves, while helping each other. We invite you to attend one of the 40 groups available throughout Colorado, Wyoming and western Nebraska.
If you plan to attend a new support group, please contact the leader of that group in advance so the leader can add you to their contact list for any emergency changes to their meeting time.
