Artful Expressions Monday, January 28, 2013, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Artful ExpressionsCreative activities have been found to be of therapeutic value for people living with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The benefits of group artistic activities include a non-verbal means of expression, improved fine motor skills and concentration, relaxation, stress reduction, group camaraderie and social interaction as well as a sense of accomplishment. Artful Expressions classes are designed specifically with PD in mind. Art activities may include painting, collage, oil pastels and mixed media.
