Touching Hearts at Home
Julie Elkjer has worked in the medical profession and education field for over thirty years. As a Respiratory Therapist, she consulted to hospitals assisting with the development of new programs and quality management, developed and coordinated an infant apnea program and consulted to skilled nursing facilities. She has always been drawn to education and decided to pursue her education degree, followed by a Master of Arts. In 2008 she started Touching Hearts at Home; it has always been a desire of hers to assist individuals and their families. She feels that Touching Hearts has allowed her to follow her two passions through educating and assisting individuals and families.
Roger Rhodes
Homewatch CareGivers
Roger Rhodes and his wife, Darby, were primary caregivers for her father, Dr. Thomas Coriden, in their home for over seven and a half years. They know first-hand the physical and mental challenges of caring for a loved one, as well as the challenges faced by families with a loved one living with a chronic and progressive neurological disorder. From Roger’s tenure as Division General Manager for a Fortune 500 company and CEO of two high-technology companies serving the Healthcare industry, he is well prepared for his role as Owner and President of Homewatch CareGivers of SW Denver.
