Most people don't automatically recognize that many other medical concerns may actually be a symptom of their Parkinson’s. Symptoms range from a chronic runny nose, constipation to pain. The most important thing to know is that you are not alone and many symptoms can be addressed.

Speaker: Dr. Avi Kurtz
Dr. Kurtz is a board-certified neurologist who completed his medical degree at University of Colorado School of Medicine. He furthered his postgraduate training at University of North Carolina Hospital where he completed a fellowship in movement disorders, residency in neurology, internship in internal medicine and served as chief resident of neurology. He has participated in numerous neurology research trials.

Dr. Kurtz offers a wide range of expertise to care for people with movement disorders. From optimizing medication treatment to help people better manage Parkinson’s disease, to qualifying and managing those who elect DBS treatment, he provides every patient with individualized care and a customized treatment plan.
