Julie Groves, Esq.
Julie Groves has observed first hand the challenges faced by many families who have failed to plan or planned poorly. Julie is passionate about estate planning and believes that it is the best gift any person can give another. Proper planning alleviates anxiety for the planner during life and anxiety for others after death. Julie enjoys practicing with her husband, Matt Groves, in Cherry Creek.
Although a native of Denver, Julie double majored in English and French at Boston College, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and graduated cum laude from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. Julie is an active Board member for the Rocky Mountain Research & Prevention Institute and enjoys assisting this non-profit with ways to help identify and avoid serious issues and conditions that particularly impact children in Colorado.
Karen Jessey, ChFC®, CLU®, CFP®
Starting in the financial industry in 1983, Karen Jessey joined what is now Wealth Strategies Group in 1987. Karen attended college on a basketball scholarship and graduated St Bonaventure University with a degree in Sociology. Knowing she was starting out young, Karen furthered her education by obtaining the ChFC®, CLU®, and CFP® designations. Karen is a driven professional who is a Lifetime Member of Million Dollar Roundtable (Court of the Table), a member of NAIFA and AALU.
Karen dedicates many hours of her time to charitable organizations and has sat on the boards of several locally. In her spare time, Karen loves to hike, snowshoe and golf in our lovely Colorado. She travels once a year to open water so her passion for sailing can be satisfied.
Jon Yarrington, MA
Jon Yarrington has 34 years of experience in geriatric care management, geriatric social work, and special needs care management. With a masters in gerontology, Jon not only offers an endless wealth of experience, but also cutting edge education and training tailored to the needs of seniors, special needs clients, and their families.
