Since the launch of our PD Life iPhone application two years ago, the Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) has become recognized as an innovator in the use of technology to help patients and caregivers improve their management of the disease and improve their quality of life. As part of that effort, PAR has collaborated with a number of organizations, most notably The Michael J. Fox Foundation, and we write to you today to help us in the cause.
The Michael J Fox Foundation working with the Parkinson Association of the Rockies is seeking people with Parkinson's disease and caregivers of people with Parkinson's disease to give feedback on a new set of interactive, web-based tools. These tools are designed to help those with Parkinson's manage their disease and donate data for Parkinson's research.
To this end, the Foundation is sponsoring a focus group at a location in downtown Boulder, Colorado, on Wednesday May 22nd. The focus group will last no more than two hours.
If selected, you will be asked to complete a series of tasks on a computer and to give your honest opinion about the experience. There will be an open discussion, so you should be prepared to speak your mind. All information will be kept confidential.
If you are interested, please follow this link and answer a few questions about yourself. If you are selected to participate, a representative will reach out to you with additional details about when and where you should meet.
Thank you for helping the Parkinson Association of the Rockies and the Michael J. Fox Foundation fine tune this new digital tool to collect data to further the advancement of research and better manage living with Parkinson's.
