Parkinson Association Vitality Walk - Enhancing Lives With Every Step

Three sites, 2,000 steps and one unforgettable experience! Parkinson Association of the Rockies will host the 11th annual pledge walk on Sunday, June 2nd. Last year the Vitality Walk expanded to include a second site in Northern Colorado simultaneously with the Denver site and an additional event in Grand Junction. In 2013 we plan to continue both of these new traditions. Our goal is have more then 1,200 individuals participate in promoting community awareness about Parkinson’s disease and raising over $100,000 to support the services of the Parkinson Association. Participants at the Denver site will enjoy music and food while discovering local products and services in vendor tents at the Resource Fair. Host a Special Event, Community Awareness Event or Fundraiser
Are you planning to host a party or gathering and not in need of gifts? A creative way to raise funds for the Parkinson Association is to ask that in lieu of gifts, contributions be made to the Parkinson Association. This is also a great opportunity to share with others how the Association has made a difference in your life. We are happy to provide you with materials about us, donation collection envelopes and would be happy to coordinate with you a time when we could come speak at your event. We would also love to give you appropriate recognition for your contributions, please contact the Parkinson Association of the Rockies to discuss opportunities.
